House bill to boost cybersecurity at the SEC heads to the floor for a vote

A House bill that would help to increase cybersecurity at the Securities and Exchange Commission is scheduled for a vote on the floor today.

The Market Data Protection Bill, which was introduced by Rep. Warren Davidson (R-OH) on Oct. 5, cleared the House Financial Services Committee Oct. 12 with a vote of 59-1.
