House approves legislation on cybersecurity guidance for small businesses

The House approved legislation Wednesday that calls on the National Institute of Standards and Technology to produce guidance for small businesses on reducing cybersecurity attacks.

The bill, introduced by Rep. Daniel Webster (R-FL) and co-sponsored by House Science Chairman Lamar Smith (R-TX), was approved by unanimous voice vote on the House floor.
