Global commission eyes protecting 'critical infrastructure' from cyber attacks

The Global Commission on the Stability of Cyberspace, which includes former U.S. officials, is seeking to develop a definition of “critical infrastructure” in order to protect it against cyber attacks.

“The prioritized topics for 2017 include the 'public core of the Internet' and 'critical infrastructures,' and the protection thereof,” said the GCSC in a press statement issued Wednesday.
