FTC releases 'staff perspective' on 2017 workshop on 'information injuries'

The Federal Trade Commission released a “staff perspective” paper on Friday detailing the “key takeaways” from a 2017 FTC workshop on “information injuries” suffered by consumers during data breach incidents, stating that these incidents cause “an erosion of trust.”
