Former FTC Commissioner Brill joins Center for Democracy and Technology board

The Center for Democracy and Technology announced Thursday that former Federal Trade Commissioner Julie Brill, an outspoken advocate for consumers' digital rights and protections, will join the group’s board of directors.

Brill, who is now co-leading Hogan Lovells’ global privacy and cybersecurity practice, was one of the FTC’s leads on internet privacy and data security issues.
