Former DHS official Spaulding to keynote ABA event on cyber risks

The American Bar Association is hosting an event on how lawyers, the government and corporations can manage cybersecurity risks, with a keynote speech by former Department of Homeland Security Undersecretary Suzanne Spaulding.

Spaulding will discuss “what cyber threats are and how we can counter them,” according to an ABA announcement issued Thursday. The Aug. 12 event in New York is presented by the ABA's Cybersecurity Legal Task Force.
