DOJ revised cyber-incident guidelines respond to emerging threats, technology

The Justice Department has revised its three-year-old guidelines for responding to a cyber attack to address lingering threats and vulnerabilities as well as emerging technologies, such as cloud computing.

“This updated version includes additional incident response considerations, including ransomware, information sharing pursuant to the Cybersecurity Information Sharing Act of 2015, cloud computing, and working with cyber incident response firms.
