DOE officials to testify at House Energy and Commerce hearing on DOE modernization

Mark Menezes, the under secretary for energy at the Department of Energy, will discuss cyber issues and DOE modernization on Wednesday at a House Energy and Commerce subcommittee hearing.

The hearing is being held to discuss four pieces of legislation meant to update the cyber and physical security of the electric grid, overseen by the DOE.
