DOD report identifies cybersecurity as threat to defense industrial base

Cybersecurity is a major challenge for the U.S. defense industrial base which relies on an “infinite number” of vulnerable “touch points” across multiple networks and manufacturers, according to a Pentagon report on strengthening the resiliency of the manufacturing sector.
