DHS secretary nominee Nielsen discusses cyber with senators

Kirstjen Nielsen, President Trump’s nominee for Homeland Security Secretary, met with Senate Homeland Security Committee Chairman Ron Johnson (R-WI) Tuesday to discuss cybersecurity and other homeland security issues.

Nielsen, who was nominated on Oct. 12, spoke with Johnson on challenges facing DHS, and specifically her plans on how to address cybersecurity issues within the department.
