DHS in planning talks with critical-infrastructure groups on cyber 'summit'

DHS officials are making the rounds with critical-infrastructure groups in preparation for a July 31 cybersecurity “summit” in New York City, with details of the planned event gradually coming into focus.

The Department of Homeland Security, at the direction of Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen, is in the process of planning an event that would feature numerous CEOs from critical-infrastructure companies, and a high-level presence from the Trump administration.
