DHS, FBI issue warning of latest North Korea cyber threat

The Department of Homeland Security and the FBI have distributed a “malware analysis report” that has identified Trojan malware variants used by the North Korean government.

The FBI and DHS are urging network managers to use the report to reduce exposure to malicious cyber activity by the North Korean government. The report includes “suggested response actions” and “recommended mitigation techniques,” according to an “alert” issued by the United States Computer Emergency Readiness Team, or US-CERT, on Thursday.
