DHS’ Krebs to testify at House panel’s election security hearing next week

The House Homeland Security Committee will look into “protecting America’s elections” during a hearing next week that will feature DHS Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency director Christopher Krebs, with key committee members planning to raise cyber issues.

The Feb. 12 hearing will be broadly focused on “defending our democracy,” and on “building partnerships” to bolster election security.
