Democrats’ election security task force to hold meeting on cyber threats

Top cyber officials from the Obama administration will appear Thursday at a forum hosted by House Democrats’ “Congressional Task Force on Election Security” -- the first public session held by the group created by the minority on the Homeland Security panel.

The forum on “Securing America’s Elections: Understanding the Threat” will feature appearances by former Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson and Suzanne Spaulding, the former DHS Under Secretary for the National Protection and Programs Directorate, Democrats announced Tuesday.
