DARPA official says universities crucial in development of AI's cybersecurity applications

There's an exciting future in store for using Artificial Intelligence to improve cybersecurity, but key developments will depend on the government's ability to work with universities, according to the deputy director of the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency, who noted issues raised by potential export controls on emerging and foundational technology.
