Companies across sectors form cyber standards council

Companies in the financial, health, manufacturing, technology, and other sectors have formed a new Cybersecurity Standards User Council within the open standards consortium OASIS, with the aim of articulating business requirements and defining common best practices for cybersecurity.

“Dedicated to advocacy, adoption, and interoperability, the Cyber Standards Council drives its own agenda, conducting activities and producing deliverables for members and the community at large,” the group states on its new website.
