CareFirst lawyers press for Supreme Court hearing in landmark data-breach case

In a closely watched data-breach case, health insurer CareFirst is urging the Supreme Court to sort out what it characterizes as a split between circuit courts and agree to hear the company's challenge of a ruling on when potential injury gives a plaintiff standing to bring a case.
