Blunt to schedule election security hearing, points to new House subcommittee for further action

Senate Rules Chairman Roy Blunt (R-MO) said Tuesday that he is “looking at” setting up a hearing on election security as part of an “after-action” process to evaluate the security of the 2018 midterm election systems, as the House moves to examine the issue as well, with efforts likely to get underway early in 2019.
