House passes small business cybersecurity bill

The House on Sept. 23 passed a bill expanding the ability of the Small Business Administration and the Department of Homeland Security to offer resources to help small and medium enterprises improve their cybersecurity posture.

The Improving Small Business Cyber Security Act of 2016, sponsored by Rep. Richard Hanna (R-NY), passed the House on a voice vote.
