New Coast Guard guide stresses cyber threat from ransomware

The U.S. Coast Guard is warning the maritime sector about a spike in ransomware infections among the maritime, healthcare, law enforcement, and emergency services sectors, urging port facility and vessel operators to adopt cyber best practices to minimize the cyber threat.
