White House: DHS monitoring denial-of-service cyber attacks against major sites

White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest said today that denial-of-service cyber attacks that brought down major websites are being monitored by the Department of Homeland Security, which is coordinating with public and private-sector partners to investigate the issue.
