White House budget office formally designates CISA role on government-wide cybersecurity services

The White House Office of Management and Budget today announced that the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency is the lead office for providing other agencies with cyber services including vulnerability management standardization and Domain Name System resolver service, which “reinforces our core mission,” according to a senior CISA official.

OMB under a 2019 memo is designating agencies as the Quality Service Management Office for various issues including cyber.
