Trump cyber agenda to emphasize active-defensive posture, continue info-sharing networks

President-elect Donald Trump will likely adopt an active-defensive approach to cyber threats, while embracing a continuation of information-sharing networks among industry groups and with the government, according to sources and initial analyses of the candidate's campaign positions.

Candidate Trump emphasized an overall get-tough stance on adversaries, including a boost in law enforcement efforts to pursue cyber criminals, while offering few details on how or whether his administration would continue President Obama's cyber initiatives for securing critical industries.
