Tech firms, researchers to brief Obama cyber commission on R&D, Internet of Things

BERKELEY, CA. The White House Commission on Enhancing National Cybersecurity will meet here today with cybersecurity leaders from Silicon Valley and cyber researchers, to discuss the role of research and the Internet of Things in a comprehensive cyber strategy that lays out short- and long-term recommendations.

Taking place at the University of California-Berkeley’s Center for Long-Term Cybersecurity, the meeting will examine “security challenges to the digital economy,” collaborative efforts for security, and innovation strategies for the digital economy, according to...
