State attorneys general to reassess cybersecurity enforcement priorities

The National Association of Attorneys General will convene the new membership of its cybersecurity and privacy committee today, reassessing enforcement priorities on data breaches and other cybercrimes that could potentially set the policy agenda across states nationwide.

A NAAG spokesperson told Inside Cybersecurity that the association's Internet Safety/Cyber Privacy and Security Committee, established in 2011, will refresh its membership today, reviewing existing priorities and considering new ones to improve online consumer privacy and security of personal, business, and government data....
