Presidential cybersecurity commission focuses on more, faster information sharing

NEW YORK CITY – Industry officials told a presidential commission on cybersecurity here on Monday that there must be an expansion and acceleration of information sharing, with the government playing a key role in the next phase for cyber-theat indicators.

Moreover, industry officials urged the Obama administration to move more quickly on implementing a cybersecurity law enacted late last year that provides liability relief for companies in sharing information with the government and among themselves.
