NIST sets timeline to complete revision of ‘Internet of Things’ framework

A National Institute of Standards and Technology-led effort to develop standards for the emerging “Internet of Things” will likely wrap up review of public comments in March, an industry participant told Inside Cybersecurity.

Participants in the NIST Cyber-Physical Systems Public Working Group – consisting of stakeholders from government, industry, and academia – will complete review of public comments on a draft IoT standards framework on March 31, the source said.
