McConnell opens door to Senate cyber debate next week

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) today said cybersecurity information-sharing legislation could still make it to the floor next week, depending on the outcome of a procedural vote in a separate abortion debate.

McConnell has teed up a procedural vote for Monday on advancing to a bill banning federal funds to Planned Parenthood, a proposal likely to be opposed by most Democrats. If that measure doesn't get 60 votes, the Cyber Intelligence and Sharing Act could be next in line...
