Lawyers highlight limited scope of liability protections under cyber info-sharing law

Liability protections offered by the new cybersecurity law passed last year are limited and focused on sharing cyber-threat intelligence with the government, according to lawyers discussing the costs and benefits for corporate executives in trying to decide whether to participate in the info-sharing program.
