ISAO standards group to offer support services after issuing guidance

The organization charged with developing standards and guidance for creating information sharing and analysis organizations will transition into a supporting role for ISAOs once guidance is completed in September, according to the deputy director of the standards organization.

Rick Lipsey, the ISAO standards organization deputy director, said during a public meeting Thursday that the body plans to work with existing information sharing institutions and help stand up new ones once it has issued guidance on Sept. 30.
