House committee sees improvement in federal IT acquisitions, cyber risk management

Federal agencies are improving their technology acquisition processes and improving their risk assessment capabilities, according to a new “scorecard” from the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee.

The scorecard was released Wednesday at a House subcommittee hearing on federal IT reform efforts, and comes just two days after the Obama administration issued new cybersecurity rules for federal contractors.
