Homeland security panels push for July floor action on DHS reorganization

Leaders of both the House and Senate homeland security committees are pressing for floor action in July on bills to reorganize cyber functions at the Department of Homeland Security, with the House side likely closer to taking up the legislation in the coming weeks.

The House is on recess next week, then returns for a short two-week sprint before adjourning until September for the national conventions in July and a five-week August recess.
