GWU creates task force on role of active defense in cybersecurity

Former senior U.S. officials will be among the leaders of George Washington University’s new task force on developing a policy framework for active defense in cybersecurity, the institution's Center for Cyber and Homeland Security announced Thursday.

Dennis Blair, a retired four-star admiral who served as director of national intelligence; former Homeland Security Secretary Michael Chertoff; Frank Cilluffo, the center's director; and Nuala O'Connor, president and CEO of the Center for Democracy and Technology, will chair the panel, which Inside...
