Group targets legal barriers to sharing cybersecurity products among healthcare practices

A health industry group is urging lawmakers to revise a federal statute that is seen as prohibiting healthcare organizations from donating or subsidizing cybersecurity products for smaller entities that may be struggling to protect themselves – and interconnected healthcare networks – from cyber threats.
