DHS plans cybersecurity outreach meeting on critical infrastructure

The Department of Homeland Security’s cybersecurity program for critical infrastructure owners and operators will hold an outreach meeting next week in Maryland to discuss voluntary standards and further activities planned for this year.

The Critical Infrastructure Cyber Community Voluntary Program – C-Cubed, for short – was established to urge industry to use the federal framework of cybersecurity standards developed by the National Institute of Standards and Technology in response to President Obama’s 2013 cybersecurity executive order.
