DHS chief aims for complete implementation of advanced cyber systems in 2016

Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson is aiming for full implementation of continuous diagnostics and mitigation and the “EINSTEIN” cybersecurity program across all federal agencies by the end of the year, amid worries over hacker access to and manipulation of government data.

Johnson said today during his annual “State of Homeland Security” address that DHS is looking to achieve 100-percent implementation of CDM this year, after successfully rolling it out to 97 percent of federal agencies in 2015.
