Data-security dispute resolution in draft trade deal would uphold regulatory compliance

The draft text of a trade deal being negotiated by the United States and European Union includes language that would allow telecommunications companies to protest cybersecurity and other regulatory decisions viewed as harmful, but would require compliance while that dispute is being reviewed.
