Cyber commission urged to recommend full use of federal authorities to secure data, networks

The federal government has all the authority it needs to ensure adequate security for its data and networks, and the presidential commission on cybersecurity is being encouraged to recommend that agencies aggressively use these existing authorities and establish a leadership role in protecting critical operations and industries.
