Credit-union group cites regulatory concerns over cyber assessment tool

A national credit-union group has praised the substance of financial regulators' cybersecurity assessment tool, while expressing concerns that it could be used for regulatory purposes.

The National Association of Federal Credit Unions late last week submitted comments on the assessment tool developed by the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency and other agencies under the auspices of the Federal Financial Institutions Examination Council.
