Auto industry releases cyber best practices ahead of Detroit cyber summit

The automotive industry’s information sharing and analysis center has released a set of cybersecurity best practices for automobiles, ahead of today’s major automotive cybersecurity conference in Detroit.

The Auto-ISAC began circulating Thursday long-awaited cyber best practices for the auto industry, according to an Auto-ISAC official, as the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the industry’s regulator, works with industry on cyber and develops guidelines of its own.
