Travelers report: Cybersecurity concern rises among consumers

American consumers are becoming more concerned about cybersecurity, a new Travelers insurance company consumer risk index finds.

The index, released this week, finds cyber risks to be the third biggest concern for consumers, just behind financial security and privacy and identity theft.

Fear of cyber attack grew from 36 percent last year to 57 percent this year, according to the report. Fear of having bank or financial accounts hacked elicited the greatest concern for consumers. Other top concerns included...
