Senate energy panel passes energy bill with cyber

The Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee on Thursday gave final approval to comprehensive energy legislation that contains a variety of cybersecurity elements.

The bill cleared the committee on an 18-4 vote, with Sens. Jeff Flake (R-AZ), Mike Lee (R-UT), Bernie Sanders (I-VT), and Debbie Stabenow (D-MI) opposing the measure.
