Security alliance to issue cyber recommendations for next president

The Internet Security Alliance has announced that it is developing a how-to cybersecurity blueprint for the next administration and Congress, which the group plans to release in September at its annual meeting in Washington, DC.

The policy recommendations will be based on real-world experiences by data-security professionals. “These are not inside the beltway consultants and academics,” said ISA president Larry Clinton in announcing the 200-plus-page book. “These are people who do cybersecurity as their day job,” Clinton said.
