NIST to examine minimizing supply-chain cyber risks

The National Institute of Standards and Technology on Oct. 1-2 will host an event addressing best practices for cyber supply-chain risk management.

According to NIST, panelists from industry will discuss types of cybersecurity issues affecting the supply chain and share how such risks can impact businesses. During another panel, industry representatives will articulate best practices that organizations have already established to address supply-chain cyber risks.
