HHS cyber task force convenes second public meeting today

The Department of Health and Human Service's cybersecurity task force will hold its second public meeting today on recommending “best practices” for the healthcare industry.

The task force was formed by the Cybersecurity Act of 2015 approved last December, and is tasked with reporting to Congress before it expires in March of next year. The group is slated to hold a total of four public meetings before issuing its recommendations for industry.
