FDA issues guidance on medical device cybersecurity

The Food and Drug Administration has released draft guidance helping medical device manufacturers better manage cybersecurity risks in connected medical devices already in the marketplace.

According to the FDA, the new guide will be a topic of discussion at a workshop in Silver Spring, MD, today and Thursday, and public comments will be accepted until April 15.
