FCC cites cyber attacks in proposed update to service disruption rule

The Federal Communications Commission announced today that it is seeking comments on a proposal to update outage reporting requirements to address broadband network disruptions, citing cyber attacks as a top cause for disruption of normal broadband traffic flows.
