Defense CISO calls for rules on international cyber information sharing

The chief information security officer for a major defense contractor said Thursday that a discussion is needed in 2016 about how information on cyber threats should be shared globally.

Michael Papay, vice president and CISO at Northrop Grumman, said during a Billington Cybersecurity webinar that international stakeholders in cybersecurity need to determine what information should be shared, what information should not be shared, and what the norms should be for receiving cyber threat information from other international stakeholders.
