Aviation standards group to discuss cybersecurity at upcoming meeting

The standards group that lays the foundation for regulation in the aviation sector will discuss cybersecurity in “mission critical environments” next month.

The Radio Technical Commission for Aeronautics, the standards-setting body that develops guidelines often used as the basis for regulation by the Federal Aviation Administration, will meet in Washington on June 21 to discuss cybersecurity among other aviation sector topics, according to a Federal Register notice.
